I started from that approach and found that there is a much better way of doing it; an emulator. You dont need to erase any chips, program any chips, open ECU's, etc etc.. The ZEM makes it much less painful with its ability to allow instant changes to the setup. I am currently working on a method for multiple-map configurations in the ZEM which will allow you to switch between one of four programs with a toggle switch and one linked into the clutch pedal for no-lift-shift capability. All of these upgrades will be availiable for free to those with the ZEMulator simply as a software download.
